OREO CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES
Christmas Oreo Truffles
Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package of OREO Cookies (that's about 45 cookies)
8 ounce cream cheese / 1 package PHILADELPHIA brand
16 ounce semi sweet baking chocolate or white chocolate
ingredients for Oreo truffles
Crush the cookies to fine crumbs. Use a resealable plastic bag and rolling pin to crush the cookies. Place in a bowl and add the cream cheese. Mix until well blended. Get about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball. The mixture can make about 40 truffle balls.

Melt the chocolate in a bowl over low heat boiling water until completely melted. Take the bowl off the heat and start dipping each truffle in the chocolate. Use two spoons to roll the truffles in chocolate until evenly coated. Remove the truffles, let the excess chocolate drip, then place on baking sheet with wax paper. Decorate with candy sprinkles or cookie crumbs.
