This has been my favorite theme so far. I enjoyed a lot making this Despicable Me Minions Themed Party for Joaquin's 2nd Birthday. Who wouldn't love these adorable, yellow, cylindrical-shaped Minion creatures? The characters are such a big hit even the adults go crazy about them, and of course, the treats that were served as well on the table.
The theme is a generic yellow and blue setting with three Minion standees and one hanging on a lantern. A load of sweetness were served such as cheese and caramel popcorn, lemon and grape jello, chocolate covered oreo cookie minions, chocolate cups with a 3D minion topper, mini cupcakes, marshmallow pops, wafer sticks and take-home lemon juice drinks.
Looks familiar? Oh Yes, the Minions topper on the cake are from the McDonalds Despicable Me Happy Meal Toys. If you have collected them as well, you can now simply make a plain colored cake into a themed one at a lower price.
Turn a plain yellow paper cup to something so cute by just placing their googly eyes. Now you can use these cups like treat/favor bags.
