Here are more party ideas particularly on how to decorate your Sesame Street party. These will surely inspire you to do some serious crafting works and play with the characters' colors.
Make character faces paper pompoms or do the basic ones instead. For tutorials on how to make paper pompoms, visit my previous post here. Colorful circle garlands (use ribbons to hold them together), paper fans and paper lanterns will also brighten up your Sesame Street party. |
A great idea for table centerpieces is using jars with items the characters are related with or even toys, candies and other treats that your guests can take home after the party. Then make character cut-outs on stick with ribbons to decorate the jars.
Match your ceiling pompoms with these cute small versions as table centerpiece.
The balloon wreath and ribbon ball centerpiece is my personal favorite. Check out the Guyer Family Blog for tutorials on how to make them.
You can also use party hats and toys such as alphabet blocks and gumball machines as decors on your table.
Make M&M Jars or Letter Magnet Centerpiece. Use also your Sesame Street toys to add a dramatic element.
Make your own Sesame Street sign from yellow and green paper boards. Add white letters to spell out "Sesame Street" or the name of the celebrant and the numbers "123" on the top.
Place lots of letters and numbers on walls or create a backdrop, which can also serve as a photo wall.
This balloon backdrop is simple to make and all about the colors.
