Drawing Workshop at Jollibee Kids Club Talent Camp Day 1 & 2

Aside from Summer Ballet Classes at Pink Toes, I also let Celine join the Jollibee Kids Club Talent Camp. She initially wanted to be part of McDonalds' Kiddie Crew, but they do have a strict age requirement. I still have to wait until she is 6 years old. Good thing the Talent Camp accepts kids starting age 4.

The Jollibee Kids Club Talent Camp is a 6-day workshop held once a week with fun activities per day like Drawing, Burger Making, Dancing and Singing. The culminating day is a program where they will be performing together with the kids from other Talent Camp branches.

We actually missed the last day of registration. So, she was not able to attend the first day, which was the orientation with parents. I was very pleased that they still accepted her to join the second day.

Day 2 of the workshop was all about Art and Drawing. There were lots of drawing activities and games that the workshop lasted almost four hours! Celine really enjoyed and I liked that she was able to make new friends with kids who are bigger and older than her.

Before I start telling you about their activities, I want to show you their very nice t-shirt and a cap kiddie uniform :)
The first warm-up activity was to draw their family. All materials needed for the activities were provided to them. Celine did a nice job of drawing all of us, right? :)
Her favorite was creating a picture of Jollibee by tracing the figure outline and then coloring it after. She even excitedly screamed, "Mommy, I can draw Jollibee! I already know how!" Yes, anak you can easily draw anything by just tracing :)
They were also asked to draw what they want to be when they grow up and did some finger, or rather hand painting after.
Lastly, they had a  group activity where they have to visualize and sketch a "Picture of Tomorrow" in a big manila paper. When asked what it was, she said they are buildings and hotels :)
They played in between activities and there were even prizes to be won. The kids were so thrilled not only with the games, but also with the kiddie meals that were served after.

Stay tuned for my next post of their Day 3 Workshop! :)
