After considering so many summer classes in the Metro, we ended up with Ballet! I guess, the Barbie and the Pink Toes movie had some influence on this decision as well. She loves and enjoys every minute of her ballet class. I'm so proud that Celine is actually really good at this. She joined the group of ages 3.5 to 4 and they are around fifteen in a class. Imagine how difficult it is to teach a big group of little girls who would jump, run around and crazily do their own movements. Still, it's always a delight to see them dance and perform.
PINK TOES Center for the Performing and Musical Arts not only offers Classical Ballet, but also Streetdance and Music courses Piano, Voice, Violin and Guitar. They are affiliated with the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet where their training courses are based on the Russian (Vaganova) method of classical ballet, an internationally acclaimed classical ballet raining and assessment program. Photo at the right is their grand recital last year at Meralco Theater.
Their session always begins with warm-up and stretching activities. After, the Teacher would instruct them to do some steps, one-by-one from one end of the room to the other side. This week, they started doing formations already for their recital. I'm so excited! :)
My Beautiful Ballerina!
Mommy can't wait to see you dance at your Summer recital :)
