Myeongdong and Namdaemun Market are two very popular tourist attraction and shopping areas in Seoul. Myeongdong is one of their main shopping districts where you'll find mid to high end brands, retail stores and international brand outlets. Beauty and cosmetics stores are literally in every block. A bought a lot of goodies in Face Shop, Etude House and Nature Republic since their prices are very low compared here in Manila and most items are on sale.
If you are crazy about K-POP, Ttrak of Bloo in Myeongdong is the place to go to buy their items and merchandise.
If you walk further, you'll pass by Namdaemun Market, where you can find plenty bargain items. It is also the oldest and largest market and Korea very much like Divisoria in Manila. Here you can buy your souvenir items and gifts to bring home or "pasalubongs" to your loved ones. You can also get those cute petite dresses and blouses here at a cheap price.
PSY is indeed everywhere, even in socks!
What's the best thing to do after shopping? Eating, of course! :) Read all about our Korean food and street food adventures HERE.
